Finally, I managed to finish reading this book after some years it had been lying on my bookshelf. A story that is based on the author's experiences as a psychotherapist who deals with children with mental disorder. Sheile,a student of the author, a little girl who endures difficult times of her life since she was four, is told here in the book; after all the book is all about her. Sheila is said to have mental disorder as she ever burned a three-year-old boy when she was six. The boy could have been killed if no one had noticed what she had done. This book is a story of Sheila's life, how the author handled her from she was six until she had been a grown up woman. To me, Sheila's life is really painful and Hayden managed to make cry. She writes in such detailed that I felt like knowing Sheila in my life and I can learn something from both Sheila and Hayden. There are some moments which make me numb for sometimes, there are some moments in the story which make me laugh. Yet, the storyline is tend to be monotonous; almost the same cases told in every chapter. Honestly, the ending of Sheila, is quite suprising. I was about to rate 2 or even 3, yet the ending so suprising that I changed my mind; I rate them 4 and I really recommend you the book.
