O.K, there is one way out! just skip them then. To me doing puzzles is entertaining sometimes.
In most paper, cartoon strips/ comic strips are common. I often check them out. They don't always make me laugh though; that's because I don't get what they want to say through their entertaining drawings, or I don't think they are funny.

Jokes is a part of a culture. That each country has different kind of jokes. Jokes / slapstick or whatever you call it are considered funny in some parts of the world, but certainly not in some others.
"Silent" comics, such as Ferd'nand or Snoopy and all that jazz are different! no matter where you are, what your language is, they are much easier to understand. There are quite many "silent" comics, but this is one of them ( which I happen to like)
I am always interested in comic strips; the drawings are just so entertaining that I can enjoy them. Too bad, no matter how hard I try to draw, still can't draw as a real cartoonist.
If you like cooking, then perhaps you wanna try a different way of looking at recipes? But one thing, I don't promise you the taste! wanna try? let me know!

Meski baru sekali baca novelnya Joy Fielding, kesan pertamaku ini novel memang berani dan benar juga kata orang-orang yang sudah membaca buku ini “ I can’t stop reading until I finish it. I can’t wait to know the ending.” memang sih bukan kisah nyata tetapi jalan ceritanya bagus dan lain dari pada yang lain. Novel “ Grand Avenue” ini berlokasi di Cincinnati, dan bercerita tentang empat orang gadis yang bersahabat hingga mereka semua memiliki anak dan keluarga masing-masing. Ini bukan tentang sebuah persahabatan saja, tetapi sebuah pengkhianatan. Tidak hanya bercerita tentang kehidupan seputar persahabatan mereka tetapi juga polemic dalam keluarga mereka dan sangkut pautnya antara keluarga satu dengan yang lain. Ini tentang :Pengkhianatan, perselingkuhan, persidangan dan hak asuh, perceraian, pelecehan seksual, pernikahan yang tidak bahagia, pembunuhan. Beberapa dari mereka ada yang bahagia dan ada juga yang menderita. 23 tahun setelah persahabatan mereka, dua orang dari mereka meninggal dibunuh dengan kejam dan misteri ini terkuak beberapa tahun berikutnya. Kalau Anda penggemar fiction stories, hmm kayaknya Joy Fielding bisa deh masuk daftar.
“WOW”, “aww, that’s so touching!”, “Phew! Finally”. Those might be the first impression of this novel. I bought it December 20th, 2005. Honestly, it was the cover which made me buy this novel. I would say that Grand Avenue is a touching story. What people say about this novel is true, no doubt that you can’t stop reading until you finish reading it and you can’t wait to know the ending either. I encountered that myself when reading Grand Avenue. Believe it or not! I could manage to finish reading a 474-page novel in about two days. ( To me, that was kind of new that I managed to finish reading a novel in such a short time.). Grand Avenue is not based on a true story anyway, yet the storyline is quite different that any other novels I have ever read. Grand Avenue is located in Cincinnati and it is a story of four women who have been best friends since they were kids. Now that they have their own family and children, they are faced with complicated things that affect to their friendship ;betrayal of one of their best friends, marital affair, trial and custody, divorce, sexual harassment, unhappy marriages, and murder. Two of them have such perfect mariages while the other two have such miserable ones. 23 years after their friendship, two of them are killed violently and mysteriously. The murder is uncovered for some years until it is finally solved by one of the grandchildren of the four women few years later. I really should give big applause for Joy Fielding for putting such great words into such a great Grand Avenue.
